Cost-optimized, efficient, and simple
Precision, dynamics, and versatility
Compact integration, with maximum efficiency, precision, and dynamics
With performance classes P1 to P7 – from economy to precision – and the integrated solution PxG® integrated, the PxG® series offers a versatile modular servo system for almost any industrial application. The six performance classes are aimed at all industrial and engineering specialists who need reliable and efficient high-performance servo gear units – from the design and development stages via procurement and project management all the way through to service and maintenance.
PxG® servo planetary gear units offer a combination of freely selectable performance classes and a modular design. The result is a solution that adapts precisely to your specific needs – from a machine with basic requirements to a high-end application.
The benefits for you at a glance
MOVIKIT® offers ready-to-use software modules for everything from simple drive functions to complex motion control functions. Our objective – one that delivers added value for you – is providing configurable automation and motion control functions to make startup times much shorter.
Digital motor and data integration is successful thanks to the MOVILINK® DDI digital interface. It's all based on single-cable technology. Our motors and inverters from the MOVI‑C® modular automation system really do require just one hybrid cable for power supply and data transfer. The hybrid cable supplies the motor with power and MOVILINK® DDI, a digital encoder, transfers all necessary power, brake, and diagnostic data between inverter and motor. This saves you both time and money during installation and startup.
If required, both motor designs from the CM3.. series are also available with a safety brake and safety encoder. These can be integrated into the servomotor individually or in combination.
The following safety functions are possible with the safety brake:
Using safety encoders, safety functions relating to rotational speed, direction of rotation, standstill, and relative position are possible, such as SS1, SS2, SOS, SLA, SLS, SDI, and SLI according to IEC 61800‑5-2.
Drive technology and drive electronics are subject to various functional and/or product-related requirements, depending on the country of use. For instance, specific product labeling requirements must be met when importing goods. Both "Medium Inertia" and "High Dynamic" synchronous servomotors have the necessary national product labeling.
